SGGP Newspaper cooperates with BIDV Bank to present 100 Tet gifts to party members and disadvantaged people in Thu Duc City.

On the afternoon of January 30, SGGP Newspaper coordinated with the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development, Ho Chi Minh City Branch (BIDV), the Party Committee - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City to present 100 gifts (VND 1 million/gift) to party members, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper Bui Thi Hong Suong said that over the years, SGGP Newspaper has always paid deep attention to social activities for the community. Many programs aimed at the disadvantaged and vulnerable are regularly organized. In particular, special care is given to children, homeless patients and other disadvantaged policy beneficiaries.

In particular, every time Tet comes, SGGP Newspaper has a plan to coordinate with units, businesses, and philanthropists to join hands to take care of people in difficult circumstances to have a happy Tet.

“On the occasion of the Year of the Dragon 2024, we are very happy and respectful to send to the ladies, uncles, brothers and sisters in Hiep Binh Phuoc ward small gifts but full of affection and care from the Party Committee - People's Committee of Hiep Binh Phuoc ward, SGGP Newspaper and BIDV Bank (HCMC branch). We hope that these small gifts will be a way to share, encourage, support and care for the ladies, uncles, brothers and sisters when Tet is near”, said Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper Bui Thi Hong Suong.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper Bui Thi Hong Suong also sent New Year greetings to all delegates and people at the ceremony, wishing them a warm and happy Lunar New Year.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang - Deputy Director of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development, Ho Chi Minh City Branch (BIDV) said that this year BIDV was honored to accompany SGGP Newspaper and Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward People's Committee to organize the ceremony. Sharing with SGGP Newspaper, Ms. Pham Thi Nhung (Ward 4, Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City) said that due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, her family has encountered many difficulties over the past year. Her and her husband's jobs are not yet stable (Ms. Nhung herself is a worker at a garment company with a monthly salary of only 6-7 million VND, her husband is a freelancer), both husband and wife also have to take care of their elderly parents and raise 3 school-age children.

“I am very happy and touched. With this gift, I plan to buy new clothes for my three children. Through this, I also thank SGGP Newspaper and BIDV Bank for supporting families to have a warmer and more prosperous Tet holiday,” Ms. Pham Thi Nhung excitedly said.

Mr. Lam Quang Cam (nearly 90 years old, 45 years of Party membership, worked at Group 559 and was the Captain of the Truong Son Road Design Company, residing in Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City) was moved, excited and sent his thanks to SGGP Newspaper and benefactors for caring for party members and families with meritorious services, not only in terms of material life but also in terms of spirit.
