This morning, July 18, in Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association organized a gift giving event for people in especially difficult circumstances.

At the program, the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association presented 10 gifts, worth 1 million VND each, to households in especially difficult circumstances, which were published in the Addresses for Help section of Quang Tri Newspaper. Most of the recipients of the gifts this time were poor households, families with members who had accidents, were sick, or had disabilities... Despite their efforts, they still faced many difficulties in life.

Giving gifts to the addresses in need, Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association Nguyen Van Vui shared the difficulties in people's lives. He hoped that the gifts from the association would help people ease some of their difficulties and challenges, giving them more motivation to rise up. At the same time, he thanked Quang Tri Newspaper for always being a bridge of affection and trust between the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association and people in difficult circumstances in the province.

Also in the program, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper Truong Duc Minh Tu presented the amount of money that readers donated to the addresses in need of Quang Tri Newspaper, including: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hiep (4.2 million VND); Mr. Nguyen Duc Tinh (2.3 million VND); Mr. Dam Trong Nam (400 thousand VND); Mai Nguyen Minh Tuan (200 thousand VND); Nguyen Hai Duyen (900 thousand VND); Ms. Tran Thi Hiep (900 thousand VND); Mr. Le Tai Hieu (1.2 million VND) and Dang Van Tu (200 thousand VND).

Touched when receiving the support gift from the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association and readers of Quang Tri Newspaper, Mr. Dam Trong Nam, residing in Khe Sanh town, Huong Hoa district, said that since his wife fell ill, his family has encountered many difficulties. He has to be by her bedside regularly to take care of her, and has no time to work to earn a living. “I am very grateful to the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association and readers of Quang Tri Newspaper for their concern and support for my family. This concern is a great source of spiritual encouragement for me,” Mr. Nam said emotionally.

According to Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper Truong Duc Minh Tu, in recent times, Quang Tri Newspaper has received the loving and responsible support of many readers and kind-hearted organizations and individuals, including the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association.

Originating from charity and social activities, the relationship between Quang Tri Newspaper and the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association has always been close and strong. From this relationship, many people in Quang Tri have received timely attention and support.

Thanking the gifts that the Vietnam Construction Machinery Association and readers gave to the addresses in need on this occasion, the Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper affirmed that the staff and reporters of the newspaper will continue to make efforts to build a bridge of charity, connecting philanthropists and those in difficult circumstances.
