Palestine had a lot of difficulty against the controlling play of the Vietnamese team.

After this defeat, many Palestinian newspapers were dissatisfied with the home team's performance and expressed their desire to fire coach Makram Daboub.

“In just a few days, Palestine suffered two defeats against Oman and Vietnam. These losses have raised alarm bells for the Palestinian team in the context that the 2023 Asian Cup is only a few months away.

In addition, the Palestine Football Association may consider firing coach Makram Daboub. The team needs a new coach to create a new breath of life. Mr. Makram Daboub does not bring confidence to the fans," Safa wrote.

Safa newspaper added that despite having worked with the Palestine team for a long time, Mr. Makram Daboub has not been able to fix the defensive weaknesses of the West Asian team.

Meanwhile, Wafa newspaper commented that this was a regrettable loss for Palestine because they played not badly against the Vietnamese team.

“Palestine suffered a defeat against the Vietnamese team by two unexpected goals. This is our second consecutive defeat.

In fact, Palestine played quite well against the Vietnamese team in the first half. The team missed more than one good chance. However, the second half witnessed Palestine's inexplicable decline.

Coach Makram Daboub's team suddenly slowed down and continuously let the Vietnamese team score two goals," Wafa newspaper commented.
