Users select the 3D sandbox of each campaign and follow the progress of the war day by day. The sandbox can be rotated 360 degrees, zoomed in and out by touching or dragging the mouse.

Each sandbox will contain various VR interactive points such as videos and 360-degree images.

To experience this feature, users follow these 4 steps:

This is a vivid example of how technology can help storytelling in journalism.

To realize this project, Nhan Dan Newspaper's staff and partners went to the field, collected and produced 360-degree images for many consecutive working days.

"We want to create a valuable digital archive, a space to remember and honor history. We hope that readers of all generations, especially the young generation, will find here inspiration and motivation to continue the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese people" - Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association shared.

Experiencing the VR technology of the website, Mr. Patrick Griffith (Australian nationality) said: “It must be said that it is very cool. In the past few years, Vietnam has invested in new technologies such as AR or VR very quickly. But telling stories of the past with modern technology is like a very interesting metaphor.”

Previously, the technology of “touch points” originated from the project “Love Vietnam” has been deployed in 63 provinces and cities nationwide. The project is a combination of wireless connection technology (NFC) and digital data to spread love for the country, national pride, promote historical and cultural sites across the country.

The special page is part of a special information and propaganda campaign of Nhan Dan Newspaper on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
