(Dan Tri) - CNN Indonesia hypothesized that coach Park Hang Seo could lead the Malaysian team after the AFF Cup 2024, replacing interim coach Pau Marti Vicente (Spanish).
Previously, the interim coach of the Malaysian team, Mr. Pau Marti Vicente, announced that he would leave Malaysia after the AFF Cup 2024, regardless of the results of this tournament.
Immediately, in an article posted today (December 6), CNN Indonesia wrote: "Will coach Park Hang Seo become the coach of the Malaysian national team, after coach Pau Marti Vicente resigns?".

"Coach Pau Marti Vicente's decision to end his job after the AFF Cup has sparked rumors that South Korean coach Park Hang Seo will replace Vicente as coach of the Malaysian national team," CNN Indonesia added.
The reason why coach Pau Marti Vicente announced his early departure from the Malaysian team right before the Southeast Asian tournament was because the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) did not have faith in the Spanish coach.
FAM officials want the Malaysian team to have a new coach, for the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying campaign, taking place early next year.

CNN Indonesia commented: "Coach Park Hang Seo, who has had success with the Vietnamese team, is a notable candidate."
"Mr. Park is currently in a period of no ties with any team, after he left the Vietnam national team not long ago. This is believed to open up opportunities for coach Park Hang Seo to explore new challenges, including the possibility that Mr. Park will lead the Malaysian national team.

With coach Park Hang Seo, after Mr. Park left the Vietnam national team in early 2023, there were many rumors that Mr. Park was a candidate for the position of coach of the teams of Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, China, and Korea.
However, Mr. Park and the representative of the Korean coach continuously denied the above rumors.
