With flexibility and initiative, up to now, Vu Quang Social Insurance has installed the Vietnam Social Insurance application (VssID) for 9,207 people. This is also the leading unit in Ha Tinh province in this indicator.
Despite the hot weather, experts and collaborators of Vu Quang Social Insurance (VSS) still diligently went to the grassroots to guide people to install the VssID application. This is an activity that experts and collaborators carry out regularly and continuously.

Ms. Ha Kieu Oanh - Social Insurance specialist of Vu Quang district said: “In order to guide people to install and use the VssID application, we go directly to the facility to promote people to use health insurance (BHYT), social insurance, and from there, support the installation of the application. My colleagues and I are always proactive in answering and supporting the installation and instruction of the VssID application for family members, relatives and friends. Or when people come to transact at the reception and return results department, the transaction officer will guide the installation, use and registration for individuals with smartphones so that the application can be popularized to the whole population”.
Vu Quang Social Insurance proactively implements a variety of solutions to "cover" the VssID application.
Vu Quang is a mountainous area, so the implementation of VssID by Vu Quang Social Insurance still faces many difficulties. However, since the beginning of 2021, Vu Quang Social Insurance has always tried and proactively implemented many diverse solutions to achieve the assigned targets.
Vu Quang Social Insurance has actively coordinated and integrated propaganda in meetings with communes, towns, women's associations, farmers' associations... on instructions for installing the VssID application. Introduce the application's utilities to increase the number of people installing and using it.
In addition, the district Social Insurance also implemented many synchronous activities such as: advising the district People's Committee to issue documents directing agencies, units, and service organizations to guide the installation of the VssID application for social insurance and health insurance participants; strengthening propaganda and dissemination of the application and installation instructions so that people know, actively install and use the application; assigning application installation targets to specialists and collaborators on a monthly and quarterly basis. In addition, training for agents and officers in charge of social insurance and health insurance is also regularly and effectively implemented.
Up to now, Vu Quang District Social Insurance has installed 9,207 VssID accounts.
Sharing her experience after a period of using the VssID application, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (Cua Linh village, Duc Linh commune) said: “Previously, using my paper health insurance card was quite inconvenient because the insurance card was easily wet, torn, and the letters were blurred, but when using this VssID application, using health insurance for my medical examination and treatment is more convenient. In addition, I can also easily look up information, monitor the process of participating and enjoying my social insurance and health insurance regime in just one application”.
Efforts to propagate and mobilize through each activity, taking advantage of each meeting or event of Social Insurance officers have helped the number of people installing and using VssID in Vu Quang district increase. To date, the district Social Insurance has installed 9,207 VssID accounts. Of which, from the beginning of the year until now, 1,082 accounts have been installed (the target assigned by the province in 2023 is 1,062 accounts). With that result, Vu Quang Social Insurance is the first unit in the province to complete this target.
In addition to providing instructions on installing the VssID application, Vu Quang Social Insurance also actively promotes people to participate in social insurance and health insurance.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Toan - Director of Vu Quang Social Insurance said: “The results achieved have created momentum for us to strive further in "covering" the VssID application among the people. In order for VssID to come into life, the unit will strive to deploy many direct propaganda solutions at the grassroots level, update information and communication images on social networking sites; coordinate propaganda and installation instructions through group communication sessions. In addition, activities such as providing documents, leaflets, broadcasting videos instructing on installation and use of the VssID application will be deployed more widely. At the same time, regularly monitor the implementation, summarize the implementation results to make necessary adjustments to make the application installation more extensive. We also continue to direct staff to coordinate with collection service organizations to increase installation and account registration for health insurance and social insurance participants, aiming to make the application most widely popular".
