Communist Party of Vietnam e-newspaper launches contest "Fighting against counterfeit goods and online fraud"

(CLO) On November 25, at the Foreign Trade University (Hanoi), the launching ceremony of the Contest "Anti-counterfeiting and online fraud" and the Awarding Program "Scratch the anti-counterfeit stamp - Get lucky immediately" took place. The contest is expected to take place from November 25, 2014 to May 26, 2025 at the address: chonghanggia.dangcongsan.vn.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Cong Dung, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, said: Over the past years, the problem of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, and goods of unknown origin has tended to develop in a complicated manner, causing many consequences for society, affecting the health and finances of consumers, while reducing the reputation and causing significant economic losses for genuine manufacturers and businesses. Along with the explosion of the internet, e-commerce has also developed by leaps and bounds.

However, reality also shows that in recent years, the problem of online fraud in cyberspace has become more complicated with many sophisticated forms and tricks, causing damage to both consumers and genuine manufacturers. Online fraud occurs not only in production and business activities, but in all areas of economic and social life.

The "Anti-counterfeiting and online fraud" contest and the "Scratch anti-counterfeiting stamps - Get lucky" award program are practical activities that contribute to strengthening propaganda, dissemination and raising awareness for people, businesses and society to combat counterfeit goods and minimize the risks of being scammed in cyberspace, for the peace of the people and social order and safety.

The Organizing Committee of the Contest looks forward to receiving the enthusiastic response and participation of the masses; the support and close coordination of agencies, units and localities; the attention, support and strong propaganda of the press agencies for the success of the Contest.

Announcing the Contest Rules, Comrade Pham Duc Thai, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, said: The Contest "Fighting Counterfeit Goods and Online Fraud" is organized in the form of an online quiz at the address chonghanggia.dangcongsan.vn. Contestants can participate in the Contest on the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper (dangcongsan.vn), the social network VCNet (vcnet.vn) and electronic newspapers/magazines, electronic information pages/portals of agencies, units, and localities that link to the Contest.

The contest is expected to take place over 6 months, from November 25, 2024 to May 26, 2025. The weekly multiple-choice test starts at 10:00 a.m. every Monday and ends at 9:00 a.m. the following Monday...
