Attending the workshop were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee of Phu Tho province and representatives of departments, branches, districts, cities and towns in Phu Tho province, along with more than 200 journalists, editors and reporters from 16 provincial Party newspapers in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

At the workshop, delegates emphasized that in recent times, the Party newspaper and the team of Party journalists in 16 provinces in the Northern Midlands and Mountains have made efforts to promote their particularly important role and position in propagating and promoting images, practically contributing to the development of local tourism, actively contributing to the cause of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and sustainable socio -economic development of localities.

Along with innovating content and methods, local Party press agencies have actively linked up to promote to improve the quality and effectiveness of tourism promotion. This is both a solution and a motivation and goal for Party press agencies and Party journalists to join hands to build a strategic vision for further development of tourism in the Northern Midlands and Mountains, to build and promote the image, regional brand, and national brand.

Comrade Tran Van Toai, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dien Bien Phu Newspaper, gave a speech at the workshop.

On this occasion, the leader of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee affirmed that Phu Tho Newspaper hosting the 22nd Conference of Party Newspapers of the Northern Midlands and Mountains is a good opportunity for Phu Tho Province to introduce and promote the potentials, advantages, characteristics, traditions, especially the tourism potentials and advantages of the province. He also expressed his wish that local press agencies discuss and contribute ideas to coordinate and link between localities in promoting propaganda and promotion of the tourism development potential of localities. Thereby, proposing solutions to remove difficulties to promote tourism activities of the Northern Midlands and Mountains provinces commensurate with their great potentials, advantages and unique identities.

The presentations of the leaders of the Party newspapers of the Northern Midlands and Mountains provinces shared experiences in propaganda and linking propaganda to create strength and success to help tourism develop sustainably. Thereby, affirming the role and position of the Party newspapers of the Northern Midlands and Mountains provinces.

At the end of the workshop, representatives of Phu Tho Newspaper's leadership handed over the rotating flag to host the 23rd Workshop of Party Newspapers of the Northern Midlands and Mountains in 2024 to the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center.

Delegates respectfully offered incense to commemorate the merits of the Hung Kings.

Previously, on the afternoon of August 13, delegates attending the conference respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate the merits of the Hung Kings and ancestors who founded the country at Kinh Thien Palace on the top of Nghia Linh Mountain of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site.
