In order to better serve the needs of daily life, production and business during the April 30 - May 1 holidays and the peak hot months, the National Power System and Electricity Market Operation Company Limited has developed many different operating scenarios such as: Extreme scenario, to test the response capacity when demand suddenly increases; favorable scenario, to assess fuel demand in case of low demand; scenario to adjust the mobilization of Son La hydropower plant, to increase flood prevention capacity, ensuring safety for the Hoa Binh hydropower expansion project.
Overall, the national power system and the three regions of the North, Central and South will still basically ensure enough electricity during the dry season and throughout 2025.
