Ensuring conditions for organizing the 2nd Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament

On the morning of June 16, the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament - 2023 held a conference to deploy professional work, assign tasks and deploy preparations for the tournament.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Education and Training, Department of Justice, Provincial Police, Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Thanh Hoa Football Federation, Thieu Hoa District People's Committee (host unit), Viet Hung Development Joint Stock Company and related units.

As planned, the 2nd Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament - 2023 will officially kick off on July 1 in Thieu Hoa district. The matches within the framework of the tournament will be held at the Thieu Hoa District Sports Stadium and expected at Thieu Phu Commune Stadium. This year's tournament continues to be for students under 8 years old (U8) and under 10 years old (U10), including 12 U8 teams and 18 U10 teams.

The teams are drawn, divided into groups, and compete in a round-robin format, with the best teams in each group advancing to the knockout round. The organizing committee will award trophies, flags, medals, and prizes to the champion team, second place, and third place to the best teams in the U8 and U10 age groups. Individual prizes will also be awarded, including: best player, top scorer, and best goalkeeper.

At the conference, the organizing committee deployed preparations for the tournament, assigned tasks to members and subcommittees to ensure the tournament took place as planned, especially key tasks such as: personnel work for football teams, determining the profile, age, and eligibility of each athlete of the participating teams according to the regulations; referee work, propaganda work before and during the tournament; arrangement and provision of equipment and tools for the competition, etc.

As the host, Thieu Hoa district has basically completed preparations for facilities and competition grounds at the district Sports Hall and Thieu Phu commune stadium. In addition, plans to ensure security, order, traffic safety, and electricity supply at competition venues and during the tournament matches have been completed and implemented by Thieu Hoa district.

The district has also reviewed and has 10 accommodation facilities with 98 rooms, capable of serving from 500 to 600 people, meeting the needs of the teams participating in the tournament. In the district, there are 10 restaurants that can meet the requirements of the teams. The district focuses on ensuring food safety and hygiene seriously.

The district has implemented propaganda work in many forms before and during the tournament. The district also quickly completed the local organizing committee to coordinate the organization of the tournament successfully.

Comrade Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, spoke at the conference.

Thanh Hoa Newspaper ensures good sponsorship for the tournament, prizes for the U8 and U10 age groups, plans to organize live coverage (livestream) of the matches, propaganda work on Thanh Hoa Newspaper publications before and during the time, coordinates with Thieu Hoa district to hang banners, slogans to introduce and promote the tournament; decorate the opening and closing ceremonies of the tournament and some other sponsorship packages.

After listening to the comments and concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Duy Tu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Permanent Vice President of Thanh Hoa Football Federation, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament requested relevant sectors, units and the People's Committee of Thieu Hoa district to closely coordinate, promptly deploy and complete all professional preparations (competition, referee); have facilities; player personnel work, ensure security and order, medical work; promote propaganda before and during the tournament.

In addition to the competition field of the Thieu Hoa District Sports Stadium, the organizing committee members continued to check the field conditions in Thieu Phu Commune and the district stadium to decide on the competition venue. The members and the organizing subcommittee promoted their responsibilities and promptly completed all preparations so that the 2nd Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament - 2023 would take place as planned, safely and successfully.
