In Tuy Hoa City, the Department of Industry and Trade has a plan to hang banners promoting food safety at headquarters, traditional markets and on the streets with contents such as: "Enthusiastically responding to the Month of Action for Food Safety 2025", "Choosing food with clear origin and safety is to protect the health of you and your family", "Food production and trading establishments: strictly comply with legal regulations on the origin of raw materials, hygiene conditions of establishments, equipment serving food production and trading"...

Units focus on inspecting and monitoring food safety with focus and key points, especially food service establishments, collective kitchens, street food, production and business establishments in the area under the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and at the same time strictly handle production and business establishments that violate food safety laws.

Localities closely coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and control the slaughter of livestock and poultry in their management areas; strengthen circulation control measures, especially for imported livestock and poultry meat; promptly detect and handle cases of illegal transportation and trading of livestock and poultry meat and products made from livestock and poultry meat, which have not been quarantined and are of unknown origin.

Communes, wards and towns also need to effectively implement food safety work; direct market management boards to organize propaganda, guidance and supervision of food businesses and traders at the market to comply with legal regulations on food safety; control food sources entering the market, ensure that food entering the market has a clear origin, especially food sources for livestock and poultry must have quarantine stamps from competent authorities.

In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade also requested market management forces to strengthen inspection and control of food products circulating on the market, focusing on food, confectionery, and beverages of unknown origin, origin, and expiry date; counterfeit and poor quality goods; strictly handle and publicize cases and acts of food safety violations.

Information from localities shows that specialized departments and local health centers have been promoting propaganda on loudspeakers, warning of the risk of poisoning and food safety loss, and guiding people to choose clean and safe food when purchasing and using food. The units have also developed inspection plans and coordinated with functional agencies to inspect food business activities of enterprises and establishments; focusing on collective kitchens, food services in restaurants, eateries, including street food.

Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Hoa, representative of Tuy Hoa Market Management Board, said: The market management board has broadcast propaganda contents and regulations on food safety on the market's loudspeakers so that traders and people can pay attention and update information. The management board also requires people to comply with regulations, choose and supply safe food to protect consumers' health. At the same time, coordinate with functional agencies to carry out inspection, propaganda, and training on food safety knowledge, helping traders raise their sense of responsibility towards consumers.
