Ensuring security and order at sea tourism sites in 2025

According to the plan, the 2025 sea tourism summer in Thanh Hoa province will start with the Hai Tien Sea Tourism Festival (Hoang Hoa district) scheduled to take place on April 19, followed by the Hai Hoa Sea Tourism Festival (Nghi Son town) opening on April 24 and ending with the opening program of the Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival scheduled to take place on April 26 at the Sea Square, Trung Son ward, Sam Son city with the theme "Sam Son - Aspiration to shine".

To ensure good security and order (SOT) for the 2025 beach tourism season in general, and the Summer Opening Ceremony of Sam Son, Hai Tien, and Hai Hoa in particular, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have developed and synchronously deployed plans and strategies to prevent and combat crime, ensure SOT, traffic safety and order, public order, fire and explosion prevention, and prepare for a peaceful, safe, and attractive summer tourism season for visitors.

With the goal of ensuring absolute security and safety for delegates, people and tourists attending the Sam Son Summer Opening Ceremony in particular, and coming to travel and relax in Sam Son in general, on the morning of April 15, 2025, Colonel Trinh Van Giang, Deputy Director - Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, together with the leaders of Sam Son City People's Committee, directly surveyed the field, assessed the situation to have a plan to mobilize, arrange, deploy forces and means to participate in preventing, fighting and suppressing crimes and preventing and handling other violations of the law before, during and after the opening ceremony of the Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival 2025.

At the survey, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department pointed out a number of situations affecting the work of ensuring security and order in the summer of Sam Son 2025. In particular, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department pointed out that, with the absence of the district-level police organization, the mobilization of forces to organize and implement security and order assurance plans will be assigned to the provincial police departments and the police of wards and communes in Sam Son City. Therefore, the assigned units need to closely coordinate with the People's Committee of Sam Son City, the police of wards and communes in the city and the forces participating in security and order protection at the grassroots level to urgently survey and synchronously deploy security and order assurance measures, prevent crimes early and from afar, and not be passive or sudden.
