Ensuring security and safety of Lam Dong power transmission grid system

Participating in the inspection team were Mr. Le Trung Thanh - Deputy Director in charge of Lam Dong Power Transmission, representative of the leaders of the Economic Security Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police .

Accordingly, the inspection team conducted on-site inspections, remote and dangerous locations, vulnerable points and areas with complex security situations on the 500kV Ea Nam - Di Linh - Tan Dinh line and the 220kV Duc Trong, Bao Loc transformer stations, and the 500kV Di Linh transformer station. At the same time, they focused on inspecting the safety corridor of the power grid system, the implementation of legal regulations, and Decree 62/2025/ND-CP of the Government on protecting the safety of the power grid to ensure continuous and stable power supply.

And the living situation of people inside and outside the corridor, farming, raising livestock, planting trees violating the safety distance of the power grid. And contacting some households to grasp the security and order situation in the area as well as propagating the whole population to participate in preventing and stopping acts of sabotage, theft of property, equipment as well as propagating and mobilizing people to raise awareness in the work of protecting the security and safety of the transmission grid corridor.

Inspect the coordination with local authorities at all levels where the transmission grid system passes through to grasp the situation, inspect the security and safety of the grid, promptly detect loopholes and shortcomings for correction. Security work at the 220kV Duc Trong and Bao Loc transformer stations, the 500kV Di Linh transformer station; the implementation of tasks of the security force at the stations according to regulations.

On this occasion, Lam Dong Power Transmission Company coordinated with Lam Dong Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department to conduct fire prevention and fighting drills at 3 locations: Duc Trong 220kV Transformer Station, Di Linh 500kV Station and Bao Loc City.

The inspection team of the Economic Security Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police requested that the District Police need to coordinate with organizations, agencies and unions to promote propaganda on protecting the power grid corridor, considering this a regular task and work to contribute significantly to protecting the safety of the people. In addition, it is necessary to regularly organize inspections of violations and have sanctions to thoroughly handle violations of the power grid safety corridor. Guide and support people to implement safety measures when planting trees inside and outside the power line to ensure human safety and prevent power grid incidents. Strengthen coordination with Lam Dong Power Transmission to thoroughly handle violations of power grid safety corridor, promptly prevent violations from arising.

Lam Dong Power Transmission leaders accepted the direction and emphasized that they will continue to review and strengthen the management and operation of the transmission line safety corridor to ensure the prevention of risks of kites, flying objects, etc., outside the corridor; promptly tie down firmly, prevent flying objects from flying into transformer stations and transmission lines during the dry season in the first months of 2025.

In the past time, implementing the coordination regulations on security and safety protection of the power transmission grid between Lam Dong Provincial Police and Power Transmission Company 3, Lam Dong Power Transmission has regularly coordinated with functional departments of Lam Dong Provincial Police, especially the Department of Economic Security and the Police of districts where the power transmission grid passes through, to deploy measures to effectively ensure internal political security, security and safety of the power transmission grid in the area.

Strengthening inspection work will help the unit do a good job of managing operations, ensuring safe, stable and continuous power transmission, especially during the April 30 and May 1 holidays in 2025.
