At the review meeting of the Social Culture Committee, a representative of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, reported on the proposal to issue a Resolution to adjust the central budget's career budget to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction assigned from 2022 to 2024.

Currently, development investment projects are being implemented and disbursed according to the approved schedule. However, for projects and sub-projects using public funds, there are no longer any support objects and need to be adjusted. Through synthesis, 7 districts proposed to adjust the funding of projects and sub-project components. Ky Son, Tuong Duong and Anh Son districts registered to receive additional funding for projects and sub-projects that are still feasible.

Also this afternoon, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council met to review the draft Resolution on support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees, labor contract workers, part-time workers and other redundant subjects due to the rearrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels in Nghe An province.

According to the roadmap to resolve 1,754 redundant people from 2025 - 2029, there will be 504 people expected to retire, retire according to Decree 26/2015 and transfer to other communes. Therefore, it is expected that 1,250 people will benefit from this Resolution.

Explaining some related contents, the representative of the Department of Home Affairs proposed to keep the title of the Resolution as well as the support policy; not to expand the applicable subjects as presented in the draft Resolution.
Agreeing with the opinion of the Department of Home Affairs, representatives of the Department of Finance and the Department of Justice also provided additional explanations; agreed to keep the content unchanged: the funding for policy implementation is guaranteed by the State budget.

Based on the discussion and explanation of relevant units, Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council Pham Thanh Chung agreed to keep the name of the Resolution; requested the Department of Home Affairs to present and narrow down the content of the applicable subjects; absorb comments and complete the draft Resolution.
