On the morning of September 19, the Culture - Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review reports, submissions, and draft resolutions submitted to the 21st Session (special session) of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026. Attending the meeting were: Vi Ngoc Bich, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the Committee for Culture and Society of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the submissions, reports, and draft resolutions in the field of culture and society expected to be submitted at the 21st Session of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, including: Resolution of the Provincial People's Council Amending and supplementing a number of contents stipulated in Article 1 of Resolution No. 21/2021/NQ-HDND dated July 16, 2021 regulating social assistance policies for social protection beneficiaries and other disadvantaged subjects in Quang Ninh province, which was amended and supplemented in Clause 1, Article 1 of Resolution No. 08/2022/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2022; Resolution on tuition support for preschool children, general education students, and continuing education students studying at educational institutions in Quang Ninh province, school year 2024-2025.

Giving opinions on the submissions, reports, and draft resolutions, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying a number of contents regarding the reasons and necessity of issuing resolutions; specific contents stipulated in the resolutions; conditions and resources to ensure the implementation of the resolutions; the work of reviewing, gathering information, and making an accurate list of beneficiaries of the policies; the mechanism for implementing and monitoring the implementation of the resolutions after issuance...
In particular, the delegates all agreed that the research and proposal to issue the above policies at the upcoming 21st Session is of great significance, aiming at the goal of providing the best care for social protection beneficiaries and children and students at all levels in the province; especially those who have just been affected and damaged by storm No. 3. Thereby realizing the goal of all for the happiness of the people, so that the people can enjoy the fruits of development...

The Provincial People's Council's Committee for Culture and Society requested relevant units to fully absorb the opinions of delegates attending the meeting; supplement and complete the submission, report, and draft resolution to prepare for submission to the Provincial People's Council for consideration in the 21st session of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.
