On the morning of November 29, the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a conference to approve the draft report to be submitted to the 24th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVI, 2021 - 2026.
Comrade Luu Thi Hien, Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference.
Attending the conference were leaders, members of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Committee and a number of provincial departments and branches.
At the conference, delegates reviewed and approved the draft reports: results of implementing cultural and social tasks in 2024 and tasks and solutions in 2025; resolving voters' opinions and recommendations; examining the draft Resolution on prices for medical examination and treatment services; naming streets and adjusting the limits of some named roads in Van Ban and Simacai districts; results of implementing the resolution of the Provincial People's Council on questioning activities; summarizing the activities of the Cultural and Social Committee in 2024.
Through research, the delegates attending the conference basically agreed with the content of the draft report and believed that the information and assessments in the drafts prepared by the Provincial Department of Culture and Society were objective, accurate and appropriate.
In addition, the delegates requested the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee to supplement and amend some data in the reports for timeliness and consistency; evaluate the results of task implementation, difficulties and obstacles in the reports and drafts to be closer to reality. Regarding the renaming and naming of streets, the delegates requested that the draft have explanations and appendices clarifying the routes and streets that are newly named or renamed to facilitate the implementation and information gathering of the people.
The opinions of delegates at the conference were reviewed, synthesized and supplemented by the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Committee to complete the draft reports for the upcoming session of the Provincial People's Council.
