The Central Relief Mobilization Committee announced to stop receiving and supporting to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Relief Mobilization Committee have just issued Notice No. 10/TB-MTTW-BVDTW on the end of the campaign to receive support for people affected by storm No. 3.

On September 10, 2024, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front launched and called on all people to participate in supporting compatriots affected by storm No. 3.

Pursuant to Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP dated October 27, 2021 of the Government on mobilizing, receiving, distributing and using voluntary contributions to support overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics, incidents; supporting patients with serious illnesses; Notice of conclusion No. 456/TB-MTTW-BTT dated September 24, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee at the meeting between the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Relief Mobilization Committees of provinces and cities on the work of supporting people to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3.

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee announced that the time to mobilize and receive support for people affected by storm No. 3 is 90 days, starting from September 10, 2024. After 24:00 on December 8, 2024, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee will stop receiving support from organizations and individuals.

After 3 months of implementing the campaign to receive and support people affected by storm No. 3, the allocation and use of the support funds have been made public and transparent by the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, ensuring compliance with regulations on receiving, managing and using voluntary contributions according to Decree 93/2021/ND-CP dated October 27, 2021 of the Government.

According to the report of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, as of November 18, 2024, the total amount of funds donated by agencies, localities, organizations and individuals through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee was over VND 2,185 billion. From the amount received, by the end of November 21, 2024, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee had allocated a total amount of VND 2,040,050,000 (Two thousand and forty billion, fifty million VND). Of which, the first phase allocated VND 385 billion; the second phase allocated VND 650 billion; the third phase allocated VND 948 billion and the amount of funds transferred directly to the address was VND 57,050 billion.
