In addition to applying video assistant referee (VAR) technology, the match organizers also created conditions for the two teams to experiment with personnel by agreeing to allow each side to replace up to 6 players in a total of 3 substitutions (not including substitutions during halftime).
All other match-related activities are subject to FIFA regulations.
As the host team, China chose to play in red shirts, red pants and red socks. This means that the Vietnamese team will play in white shirts, white pants and white socks.
This is a Tier 1 international friendly match so the results will be counted on the FIFA rankings. Currently, China is ranked 80th and Vietnam is ranked 95th in the world.

In the history of national team confrontations since 1997, China has won 7 out of 8 matches against the Vietnamese team.
Their only loss was also the most recent match between the two teams, which was the match at My Dinh Stadium on February 1, 2022 (the first day of the Lunar New Year) in the third qualifying round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Asia.
