This morning, April 18, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh City Party Committee held a conference to give opinions on some contents on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units. Attending the conference was comrade Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

At the Conference, delegates gave their opinions on 4 important contents: Submission on the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units; Program and content of the Special Session of the City People's Council; Submission on investment policies, adjustment of investment policies of public investment projects; Submission on amending and supplementing Regulation 514, dated October 20, 2022 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, on a number of regimes and policies for cadres and party members.

Comrade Nguyen Van Quy presented the Proposal on the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh City Party Committee on the morning of April 18.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that, in addition to the long-term vision, when arranging administrative units, the city needs to focus on exploiting the cultural and tourism advantages that nature has favored. Develop commercial services in the central "core" area to create space for neighboring localities to develop. At the same time, thoroughly discuss the name of the new commune-level administrative unit based on the specific characteristics and history of the locality; the placement of administrative headquarters must adhere to the established principles.

Comrade Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee gave a speech at the Conference of the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh City Party Committee, emphasizing the role of exploiting local potential in the process of arranging commune-level administrative units.

Regarding personnel work, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the province will soon hold a meeting to issue specific criteria, and the city needs to closely follow them to arrange suitable staff to work in communes and wards to ensure effective operations as soon as the new administrative apparatus is put into operation./.
