Handing over houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Lac Quoi border commune

On the afternoon of April 23, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Lac Quoi Commune (Tri Ton District) held a ceremony to hand over houses to poor and near-poor households and meritorious people in the commune.

Specifically, Lac Quoi commune has completed and handed over 8/8 houses in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to families with revolutionary contributions, poor and near-poor households. Of which, the policy family group has 1 new house, 3 repaired houses; the total cost is 215 million VND, of which the central budget supports 150 million VND, the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command supports 50 million VND, the remaining amount is contributed by the families.

The group of households benefiting from the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction is 4 newly built houses; the total cost is 300 million VND, of which the central budget supports 176 million VND, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tri Ton district supports 64 million VND, the rest is contributed by the family. The newly built houses ensure "3 hard", the usable area is from 32m2 - 64m2 , tiled floor, concrete wall, corrugated iron roof.

On this occasion, the local government gave many gifts to the families to make their homes more cozy.
