Mr. Ma Mon enlisted in 1963 at Company 209, Mien Tay District Military Command. After screening, he was found to be a poor household, and his house was seriously degraded. Given his family's difficult circumstances, the Veterans Association at all levels and local authorities supported his family to build a new house. After nearly 1 month of construction, the level 4 house was completed, with an area of 60m2 and a total construction cost of 100 million VND. Of which, the support budget from the Central Vietnam Veterans Association and the Ministry of National Defense was 80 million VND; the family contributed 20 million VND.
On this occasion, local authorities and associations also gave essential gifts to help Mr. Ma Mon's family stabilize their lives.
