On April 21, Thanh Son District Youth Union organized the handover of the "Red Scarf House" project to the family of Ha Thi Thu Trang, a 9B student at Huong Can Secondary School in Khu Leo, Huong Can Commune, Thanh Son District.

Thanh Son District Youth Union hands over house to Ha Thi Thu Trang

Ha Thi Thu Trang’s family is a poor household with extremely difficult circumstances. Her mother is disabled and is raising 3 children alone. Her family is currently living in a temporary shack that has seriously degraded. In order to promptly encourage and share the difficulties with her and her family, the District Youth Union and the District Youth Union have coordinated with agencies, units, organizations and philanthropists to build the “Red Scarf House” project to help Trang’s family live in a solid and sturdy house.

After nearly 2 months of construction, the project has now been completed on schedule, Ha Thi Thu Trang's family has a new spacious house with a usable area of ​​over 70m2, total construction cost of over 100 million VND. Of which, the District Youth Union - Youth Union of Thanh Son district supported 50 million VND; Viet Tien Tuynel Brick Factory supported 5,000 bricks; Litafood Joint Stock Company Youth Union supported 10 million VND; neighbors in Leo area, Huong Can commune supported 6 million VND and contributed construction days... along with other sources of support from the State.

The project is a meaningful gift that helps Ha Thi Thu Trang's family have a new house, stabilize their life, and motivate her to strive to excel in her studies. At the same time, it affirms the role of the Youth Union in caring for and educating youth and children.
