Handing over the positions of Commander and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the afternoon of April 6, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee and Command held a conference to hand over the positions of Commander and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard. Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Border Guard attended and directed the handover conference. Also attending were representatives of the functional agencies of the Border Guard Command.

Colonel Ninh Van Hop and Colonel Dao Quoc Thao signed the handover minutes.

Implementing the decisions on personnel of the Ministry of National Defense , Colonel Ninh Van Hop ceased to hold the position of Commander of the Provincial Border Guard to retire according to the regime; temporarily appointed Colonel Dao Quoc Thao, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard to hold the position of Commander of the Provincial Border Guard. Colonel Trinh Huu Tang ceased to hold the position of Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard to retire according to the regime; temporarily appointed Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard to hold the position of Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard.

Colonel Trinh Huu Tang and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thanh signed the handover minutes.

The conference also heard the announcement of the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee assigning comrade Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard to be in charge of the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee until the completion of the leadership positions of the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Border Guard, spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Political Commissar of the Border Guard acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Colonel Trinh Huu Tang and Colonel Ninh Van Hop during their work, contributing to building a strong Border Guard force, performing well the task of managing and firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the national border.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Border Guard, presented flowers to congratulate the retired comrades and those appointed to new positions.

Congratulating the new Commander and new Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, the Political Commissar of the Border Guard hopes that Colonel Dao Quoc Thao and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thanh will continue to promote their capacity, intelligence, pioneering and exemplary role; uphold the spirit of solidarity and unity in the unit; build a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong unit, "Exemplary model"; successfully complete all tasks, manage and protect national sovereignty and border security in the new situation.
