Discussing solutions for applying information technology and digital transformation in cooperative activities - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the afternoon of April 22, the Provincial Cooperative Union coordinated with relevant units to organize a conference on solutions for applying information technology, digital transformation in production, business activities and product consumption for cooperative members in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province.

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of a number of units under the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; leaders of the Cao Bang Provincial Cooperative Alliance; leaders of a number of departments, branches, People's Committees of districts and cities and representatives of a number of cooperatives in the province.

Currently, the province has 560 cooperatives, 310 cooperative groups (THT), and 3 Cooperative Unions. Cooperatives, THTs, and Cooperative Unions in the province mainly operate in the fields of agriculture and forestry (accounting for over 70%). In recent years, the Provincial Cooperative Union has implemented activities to support member cooperatives in improving their skills, management level, and applying digital transformation to production and business activities...

At the same time, the Provincial Cooperative Union has built an electronic information page at "dantocmiennuilangson.org.vn" with the aim of introducing the cultural characteristics of ethnic groups and the province's specialty products... Through the application of information technology, digital transformation has contributed to improving the production and business efficiency of cooperatives in the province.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing a number of contents such as: the current status of digital transformation of cooperatives and members in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, solutions to effectively use the "online product market" of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; advantages and difficulties in accessing digital transformation of cooperatives in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; methods of approaching and implementing information technology applications and effective digital transformation; experience in applying e-commerce and digital transformation of cooperatives in trade promotion; solutions to build an online product market for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the province...
