The Ethnic Committee reviewed the draft resolution submitted to the 15th session of the Provincial People's Council.

Comrade Mua Thanh Son, Head of the Ethnic Committee (Provincial People's Council) agreed with the inspection contents.

The review report on the "draft resolution on selecting districts to pilot the mechanism of decentralization of management and organization of implementation of national target programs, period 2024-2025 in Dien Bien province" stated: The resolution is consistent with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and is necessary and suitable to the local socio-economic development situation and conditions. The Ethnic Committee agreed to submit to the Provincial People's Council to select Tuan Giao district for implementation.

Regarding the draft resolution approving the adjustment and supplementation of the list of projects requiring land recovery and projects using rice-growing land for other purposes in 2024 in Dien Bien province, delegates basically agreed with the draft content and the verification report. Accordingly, the Ethnic Committee agreed to submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval to supplement the list of 7 projects requiring land recovery for socio-economic development for national and public interests in the province; approve the adjustment of 4 projects requiring land recovery approved by the Provincial People's Council but with changes in area; approve 15 projects converting the purpose of using rice-growing land for other purposes; approve the adjustment of the area of ​​converting the purpose of using rice-growing land to implement 3 projects approved by the Provincial People's Council but with changes in area.

Based on the comments of the delegates, the Ethnic Committee requested the drafting agency to continue reviewing the format and presentation techniques, and complete the draft resolution according to regulations to submit at the upcoming session.
