The Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Waste and Negativity of Gia Lai province held its 11th meeting

Mr. Ho Van Nien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity chaired the meeting. Also attending the meeting were Mr. Chau Ngoc Tuan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and members of the Steering Committee.

According to the draft report of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee (Standing Body of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity), implementing the announcement of conclusions of the Steering Committee's meetings and meetings of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, relevant Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, units and localities have seriously grasped and implemented. Of the 13 specific contents and tasks stated in the announcement of conclusions at the Steering Committee's meetings and meetings of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee from September 2024 to present, 2 contents have been completed, 5 contents have not yet reported the implementation results and 6 contents are continuing to be deployed and implemented regularly.

Regarding 6 cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity, relevant agencies and units are focusing on investigating and reviewing them in accordance with the correct procedures and regulations. In addition to the cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee, during the period, the police investigation agency initiated 1 new case with 1 defendant for corruption and negativity; prosecuted 2 defendants in 2 corruption cases and received 2 new reports and recommendations for prosecution for corruption and negativity.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ho Van Nien - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Waste and Negativity, requested the members of the Steering Committee to focus on contributing ideas to complete the draft report on anti-corruption, waste and negativity work in the first quarter of 2025.
