This afternoon, April 11, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Campaign "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods" Dao Manh Hung chaired a meeting to evaluate the results of activities in 2023; develop a plan to deploy tasks in 2024 and a plan to organize a conference to review 5 years of implementing the campaign in the period of 2019 - 2024.

In 2023, the Campaign for Vietnamese People to Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods (CVD) continues to be promoted and widely implemented among the People, focusing on propaganda, mobilization, and promotion of Vietnamese goods in many diverse and rich forms, actively contributing to changing awareness in participating and responding to the Campaign of all classes of people.
Coordinated and promoted the role of markets, supermarkets, and businesses; called for the response of small traders to the campaign. At the same time, coordinated with functional departments and branches to deploy both breadth and depth to widely promote Vietnamese products and carry out well the work of regularly checking and monitoring goods, prices, origins, combating trade fraud, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, and goods that do not ensure food hygiene and safety.
Enterprises have been aware of their role and responsibility towards consumers; recognizing the potential of the domestic market, they have boldly invested, modernized production lines, created many new products with high quality, diverse designs, competitive prices with imported goods, actively built brands, promoted Vietnamese products, traditional craft villages in the province, introduced and distributed products.
The Steering Committee of the Campaign has proactively and flexibly coordinated the organization of Vietnamese goods markets in rural areas in districts, towns and cities to meet the requirements of product promotion and ensuring security and order. High quality goods, diverse designs, and reasonable prices have created consensus and shopping response from the majority of people and workers in industrial parks at the markets.
Regarding the 2024 task, the Steering Committee of the Campaign will continue to strengthen propaganda in many forms to support businesses in consuming products, helping consumers have a correct perception of the quality of Vietnamese goods and services, and deeply understand the culture of consuming Vietnamese goods, which is a practical contribution to the country's economic development.
Promote trade promotion activities in the province; develop the distribution system through the Domestic Market Development Project associated with the Campaign. Organize and mobilize businesses to participate in fairs with the theme of Vietnamese people giving priority to using Vietnamese goods; encourage businesses and distributors to prioritize selling Vietnamese goods, bringing Vietnamese goods to rural markets, mountainous areas, remote areas.
Continue to effectively organize the construction of OCOP product introduction and sales points and support and connect the province's agricultural and handicraft products to supermarkets and retail chains...
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Dao Manh Hung asked members of the Steering Committee of the Campaign to proactively propose propaganda contents and forms in implementing the Campaign.
Innovate the content and methods of propaganda and mobilization of all classes of people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods; integrate propaganda on the content of implementing the campaign with propaganda and encouragement of patriotic emulation movements in localities, agencies and units.
Continue to support businesses in innovating machinery and equipment, boldly applying science and technology to production to improve productivity, product quality, and build brands of Vietnamese and local goods in the market.
Consulting on the development of optimal plans to evaluate the effectiveness of production and business activities of enterprises in the province in recent times. Connecting to promote and introduce local products and OCOP products in other festivals, cultural and tourism events in localities.
