The Government Administrative Reform Steering Committee held its 9th meeting

This afternoon (January 15), Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister chaired the 9th meeting of the Government's Steering Committee for Administrative Reform on summarizing and evaluating the results of 2024.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh shared that in 2024, administrative reform is identified as one of the key directions of the Government and Prime Minister.

The focus is on institutional reform, reform of the apparatus, civil servants, public service and administrative procedures. The Government and the Prime Minister have spent time listening to and meeting with the people and the business community to direct research and handling of feedback and recommendations on mechanisms, policies and administrative procedures in accordance with requirements.

The arrangement, consolidation of the organizational apparatus and completion of regulations on job positions at agencies and organizations in the political system, and reform of salary policies continue to be implemented; Focusing on building an e-Government towards a digital Government, promoting national digital transformation, are important solutions to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development in 2024 with the year's management theme: "Discipline, responsibility, proactiveness, acceleration of innovation, sustainable efficiency".

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An, in order to quickly and effectively remove bottlenecks, the role of leaders of Party committees and authorities at all levels must have high political determination; must know how to choose key tasks, take drastic actions, promote the combined strength of the entire political system to grasp the "bottlenecks" to focus on directing the removal. More importantly, Nghe An province always attaches importance to and does a good job of propaganda, mobilization, creating consensus, support and cooperation of the people; At the same time, effectively exploit public services and utilities of Project 06, thereby helping people reduce costs and save time when needing to resolve civil administrative procedures.
