The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Long An Provincial People's Council held its first Conference.

At the conference, the decision of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party agencies on the establishment of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee (under the Party Committee of the Provincial Party agencies) with 32 party members was announced. At the same time, the decision to appoint the Provincial People's Council Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term was announced.

Accordingly, Mr. Mai Van Nhieu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Council, holds the position of Secretary of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee; Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Mai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee.

The members of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Council include: Ms. Le Thi Song An - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Truong Van Nam - Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phuc - Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Dang Thanh Binh - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ho Van Xuan - Deputy Head in charge of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee - Mai Van Nhieu presented the decision and presented flowers to congratulate 3 comrades, Secretaries of the affiliated Party Cells.

The Provincial People's Council Party Committee also announced the decision to establish 3 Party Cells under the Provincial People's Council Party Committee; appointing Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phuc as Secretary of Party Cell 1; Mr. Dang Thanh Binh as Secretary of Party Cell 2; Ms. Le Thi Song An as Secretary of Party Cell 3.

At the first conference, the Provincial People's Council Party Committee gave opinions on the Party Committee's 2025 Work Program; discussed and gave opinions on the leadership contents under its authority that need to be focused on implementing in March 2025 and the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee - Mai Van Nhieu emphasized that the establishment of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee aims to further strengthen the Party's leadership over the activities of elected agencies, in line with the general policy of streamlining the apparatus to be compact, strong, and efficient in the current new development stage.

He suggested that the Party Committee urgently develop the Working Regulations, the entire-term work program, the entire-term and annual inspection and supervision program of the Party Committee and assign specific tasks to each comrade in the Party Executive Committee; pay attention to leading the building of a strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology and ethics; continue to improve the quality of Party activities, promote the spirit of democracy, solidarity, setting examples, discipline in the Party organization; lead the implementation of identified political tasks to ensure quality and progress; focus on preparing good conditions for organizing the 1st Provincial People's Council Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee presented flowers, gifts and sent congratulations to female party members in the Party Committee and agencies on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2025), 1,985 years of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising and International Day of Happiness March 20./.
