Thoroughly implementing the Party's directives on mass mobilization work, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has coordinated with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to develop an action program, proposing specific measures to contribute to creating changes in the awareness and actions of the Party committees, cadres, Party members of units, representative agencies and leaders of socio-political organizations, associations in implementing mass mobilization work, mass mobilization work, and the Vietnamese community abroad.
Implementing Resolution 25-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) and Conclusion 43-KL/TW, dated January 7, 2019 of the Secretariat on "Strengthening and innovating the Party's leadership over mass mobilization work in the new situation", the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised on the promulgation and implementation of the Party's directive documents on work with overseas Vietnamese (VNONN) such as Resolution 36-NQ/TW, dated March 26, 2004 of the Politburo on work with overseas Vietnamese, Conclusion 12-KL/TW dated August 12, 2021 of the Politburo on work with overseas Vietnamese in the new situation;...
Party committees and representative agencies at all levels should strengthen innovation in mobilizing the overseas Vietnamese community, deploy measures to support Vietnamese people in the area to stabilize their lives, integrate into local society, maintain close ties with their homeland; support the preservation of the Vietnamese language and national cultural identity, and enhance economic, cultural, educational, scientific and technological exchanges between the overseas Vietnamese community and compatriots in the country...
Many representative agencies have lobbied local authorities to support the establishment of Vietnam Cultural Centers, Vietnam Cultural Houses, Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces, and the placement of statues of President Ho Chi Minh in many countries. Many community activities organized by representative agencies and localities have contributed significantly to arousing national pride and attachment to the homeland in each overseas Vietnamese.
Speaking at the working session with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the implementation of Resolution 25 and Conclusion 43, Comrade Pham Tat Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, highly appreciated the positive contributions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, especially in mass mobilization work for Vietnamese people abroad. Party organizations promote the role of political nucleus in leading the masses, establishing and strengthening Community Working Committees in areas with a large Vietnamese population. Timely report and propose measures to resolve arising incidents and issues of concern related to ideology and life, creating stability and trust of the Vietnamese community in our Party and State.
In the coming time, the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization will continue to closely coordinate with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to direct the implementation of documents on mass mobilization work and mobilize overseas Vietnamese; at the same time, effectively coordinate the implementation of the Coordination Program between the two agencies on work for overseas Vietnamese in the period of 2021 - 2026. In particular, attention will be paid to improving the quality of the staff doing mass mobilization work, especially the staff directly doing mass mobilization work for overseas Vietnamese.
