Bamboo Capital in the Top 100 private enterprises with the largest budget contributions in Vietnam

According to the recently announced PRIVATE 100 ranking, Bamboo Capital Group Joint Stock Company (HoSE: BCG) is in the Top 100, ranked 67.

According to the finalized list, the top 100 enterprises of PRIVATE 100 have a total budget contribution in 2023 of nearly 173,000 billion VND.

PRIVATE 100 is compiled based on actual data submitted in the fiscal year (12 months) ending at times between June 30, 2023 and March 31, 2024. The ranking aims to recognize the important role of the private sector in the economy, honor and spread the spirit of social service of businesses.

Featured in PRIVATE 100 are leading corporations and private enterprises in Vietnam such as Vingroup, THACO, Hoa Phat, Techcombank and Masan Group... Statistics show that enterprises in PRIVATE 100 have a total budget contribution in 2023 of nearly 173,000 billion VND.

PRIVATE 100 includes a general list of all private enterprises with tax payments of over 100 billion VND, and a list of the Top 100 leading enterprises among them (Private 100: Leading Group). In the Top 100, if a group has a parent company and a subsidiary that both meet the standards, only the parent company is ranked.

To rank 67th in PRIVATE 100, in fiscal year 2023, Bamboo Capital Group achieved revenue of VND 4,011.6 billion and contributed VND 414.2 billion to the state budget. Industrial and Transport Development Investment Joint Stock Company (Tracodi, HoSE: TCD) - a member of Bamboo Capital Group - also contributed positively to the 2023 budget with VND 178.3 billion.

In 2023, Bamboo Capital Group and its member company Tracodi contributed VND 592.5 billion to the budget.

Bamboo Capital is a multi-industry corporation established in 2011, operating in the main fields of Renewable Energy, Real Estate, Construction - Infrastructure, Financial Services - Insurance and Manufacturing - Pharmaceuticals. In 2024, Bamboo Capital Group plans to have revenue of VND 6,102.5 billion and profit after tax of VND 951.7 billion, equivalent to a 152% increase in revenue and a 556% increase in profit compared to 2023. In the first 6 months of 2024, Bamboo Capital Group recorded revenue of VND 2,100.3 billion and profit after tax of VND 416.8 billion, respectively up about 16% and 137% over the same period last year. The Group's Board of Directors said that Bamboo Capital is confident that it will complete its 2024 business plan and continue to make positive contributions to the State budget because the last 6 months of the year will be the profit drop point of many important projects.

In addition to its financial contributions, Bamboo Capital is also one of the pioneering corporations in developing clean energy and actively supporting Vietnam's Net Zero goal. Through BCG Energy, Bamboo Capital Group is operating about 600 MW of solar power and is currently implementing many large-scale wind power and waste-to-energy projects in Vietnam.
