On January 16th, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department organized a lottery program to select "Lucky Invoices" for the fourth quarter of 2024.

At the event, in the presence of the Supervisory Board, the Organizing Committee randomly selected 301,708 eligible invoices for the prize draw. These invoices were issued in the fourth quarter of 2024 by taxpayers and are managed by the Provincial Tax Department on the tax sector's centralized electronic invoice system.

As a result, 44 lucky invoices from individuals and business households won prizes. These included one first prize of 10 million VND for customer Tran Thi Tuoi, who purchased goods from Hoang Long Trading, Service and Import-Export Company Limited; three second prizes of 5 million VND each; five third prizes of 3 million VND each; and 35 consolation prizes of 2 million VND each.

Representatives from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department conducted a random number selection process to find the lucky invoice for the fourth quarter of 2024.

All winning invoices are electronic invoices with tax authority codes and are purchased by individuals or household businesses. A winning invoice is one with a tax authority code, complete buyer identification information (tax code, citizen identification number/passport), and excludes: cancelled invoices, adjusted invoices, replacement invoices, and invoices with identical tax codes for both the seller and the buyer.

It is known that from 2022 to the present, the Thanh Hoa Tax Department has organized quarterly prize draws and awarded prizes under the "Lucky Invoice" program, aiming to encourage consumers to obtain invoices when purchasing goods and services, establishing a civilized consumption habit where transactions must have legal invoices and documents, and protecting the rights of buyers. In the future, the Thanh Hoa Tax Department will continue to promote and encourage people to participate in the "Lucky Invoice" program, in order to protect the legitimate rights of buyers and improve the efficiency of tax management.
