(NLDO) – Less than 24 hours after being posted, a clip of a female valedictorian sharing at her graduation ceremony has attracted thousands of shares and comments.

It is known that the main character in the clip is Huynh Gia Diem - valedictorian of the Event Management major, Hoa Sen University. The clip was recorded at the graduation ceremony of Hoa Sen University, held at Hoa Binh Theater (District 10), on November 2. Notably, the nearly 10-minute speech was shared by the valedictorian without looking at the paper, every sentence was very natural and sincere.

Gia Diem shared that after 4 years of studying at Hoa Sen University, the proudest thing for her is getting to know many kind people and being honored to be one of 53 Ho Chi Minh City students participating in the green summer campaign in Laos.

"My wish when I grow up is to become a person with knowledge in mind and morality in heart" - Gia Diem said.

Standing in the middle of the stage, looking at the parents sitting below, the female valedictorian sent her sincere thanks.

"Before, I thought that finishing university was my goal, but when I saw my parents still studying hard at this age, I felt like I had to try harder. I thank my parents so much. Today, although I was honored as the valedictorian of my major, in my heart, my parents are the only valedictorians" - Gia Diem expressed.

It is known that Gia Diem is the President of the Student Union of Hoa Sen University. Gia Diem graduated with a GPA of 3.86/4.

After the graduation ceremony, the school's valedictorian, Nguyen Thanh Thuan, was also continuously praised by the online community for his impressive academic achievements: GPA 3.96/4, champion of the "Marketer Courage 2024" competition.

2024 marks the first graduating class of the Event Management major - the first undergraduate graduating class in Vietnam. An impressive figure is that 95% of the new graduates of the major have jobs immediately after graduation and work in their field of study, the remaining 5% study for a master's degree and study abroad. 100% of students have the opportunity to work in real businesses while still in school.
