On the evening of September 9, at Dong Dao tea room (HCMC), the music night Nghe nho thuong nhau by doctor - musician Vu Minh Duc took place.
This event is to introduce his latest album of the same name, contributing to continue building the Heart to Heart scholarship fund for disadvantaged and studious students.
The music night featured singers Huong Giang, Duy Hung, Ha Van, Tan Dao, Duc Vinh, and Lac Viet group...

The music night was divided into two parts. The first part was dedicated to his compositions such as Happy Day, Lullaby for the Full Moon … alongside compositions familiar to the audience such as The Most Beautiful Summer (Duc Huy), Where is the Lover’s Hair (Hoai Linh).
The rest of the music night is 50% songs from the album Nghe nho thuong nhau by Vu Minh Duc. The songs are performed by Duy Hung and “Sad girl in the tea room” Huong Giang.

The songs in the album are stories and perspectives of the author himself or shared by friends and relatives and are written in the style of old love songs but with newer harmonies and expressions.
In addition to the money from selling CDs and concerts, Vu Minh Duc also maintains music programs about 3 times/month, writes books, and creates a YouTube channel to earn more money for the fund.
Doctor - musician Vu Minh Duc graduated from the University of Medicine in 1995. In 2000, he received a medical scholarship in Paris (France) and was one of the first doctors in Ho Chi Minh City to study coronary angiography and angioplasty - a method to help save the lives of patients with myocardial infarction.
He can be called a "3 in 1" person, because in addition to being a doctor and a musician, he also writes literature. In 2016, his work Saigon Chu Xua Tren Vai was released and was reprinted many times.
The Heart to Heart Fund was established by him and his two daughters in 2016 to support excellent students and those in difficult circumstances.
