Bac Quang launches month of sanitation, disinfection, sterilization and vaccination for livestock and poultry

BHG - On the morning of April 16, in Lam village, Dong Tam commune, Bac Quang district, a ceremony was held to launch the month of sanitation, disinfection, and sterilization of livestock farming environment to prevent and control livestock and poultry diseases, phase I, 2025.

Bac Quang is the province's key livestock area, with a total herd of more than 114 thousand animals. The launch aims to raise awareness among livestock farmers, creating close and synchronous coordination between all levels and sectors from district to grassroots in the work of preventing and controlling diseases for livestock and poultry.

With the motto "prevention is key", in recent years, along with the implementation of vaccination campaigns for livestock and poultry, the work of sanitation and disinfection of the livestock environment has always been of interest to all levels and sectors of Bac Quang district, directed and implemented to raise awareness of livestock farmers, creating close and synchronous coordination between all levels and sectors from the district to the grassroots in the work of disease prevention for livestock and poultry.

After the launching ceremony, delegates and people together carried out a general cleaning and disinfection campaign in livestock households and Lam village.
