Bac Ninh periodically holds "no-distance" dialogues to remove obstacles for businesses and entrepreneurs

On the 13th of every month, Bac Ninh leaders will meet, dialogue and directly answer questions from the business community and investors in the area. The first session, the message is "Ready procedures - Successful projects".

On October 13, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province organized a special meeting with entrepreneurs in October 2024. This is the first conference in the initiative to organize monthly meetings with entrepreneurs and businesses on the 13th of Bac Ninh province.

Speaking at the event, after congratulating businesses and entrepreneurs on October 13, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that this is the main force, playing a major role in the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province in recent years.

That is also the reason why the leaders of Bac Ninh province decided to choose the 13th of every month to meet with businessmen, enterprises belonging to business associations, cooperative alliances, foreign investors, production and business households..., to receive, listen to and handle difficulties and problems.

Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan congratulated businessmen on October 13.

“If we want businesses to be strong, we need to create a favorable and healthy production and business environment. Bac Ninh province has determined that to achieve that, the top priority is to create a transparent and clear legal system, the government must be proactive, flexible, creative and take constructive action. We must build good business internal strength on a solid foundation. That is the responsibility of all levels of government,” emphasized Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan.

According to Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, in the meetings in the following months, in the spirit of dialogue without distance, if businesses and entrepreneurs encounter difficulties or problems, they can discuss immediately without having to wait until the month with related topics. At the same time, after the meetings, the province will have concluding documents to promptly resolve the difficulties of businesses.

The first conference - October 2024 - is held to provide information and new regulations on investment and land, and to remove obstacles in bidding for investor selection and auctioning of land use rights.

With the message: "Ready procedures - Successful projects", the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province hopes that businesses and investors will actively give their opinions to discuss and share understanding and ways of doing things to ensure the fastest possible progress to bring the project to success, bringing benefits to the businesses themselves and the common benefit of the province.

At the Conference, businesses and entrepreneurs were informed by the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment and the leaders of the Department of Justice about the contents related to the criteria for bidding, selecting bidders, selecting investors to implement investment projects using land in the province; as well as regulations on auctioning land use rights when the State allocates land with land use fees or leases land in the province...

Representatives of provincial departments and branches also directly exchanged and responded to opinions and recommendations of businesses and entrepreneurs. All took place in a spirit of openness, friendliness, with the goal of creating favorable conditions for businesses to access planning information, investment procedures, access to land, clean land and opportunities to participate in priority investment projects, and have their interests protected according to the provisions of law...

Bac Ninh will periodically organize monthly dialogues with businesses, entrepreneurs and investors.

“Bac Ninh province always accompanies businesses. Accordingly, the province will strive to improve the investment and business environment in the area to create the most favorable conditions for businesses to develop,” said Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan.

According to Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, after the Bac Ninh Provincial Planning was approved by the Prime Minister, Bac Ninh province issued a list of investment attraction projects until 2030, in which urban and commercial sectors account for the majority, and the province is currently continuing to supplement the list of investment sectors. In the coming time, Bac Ninh province will focus on developing strategic transport infrastructure such as completing the new National Highway 18 connecting with Ring Road 4 to the end of Bac Ninh province; Road 285B connecting Binh Than Bridge with Yen Phong... and continuing to invest in intra-provincial transport routes (H1, H2)...

“Although the mechanism is more open, it is also much stricter than before. Enterprises that want to develop must rely on the brand building and capacity of investors. To participate in auction and bidding projects, enterprises must first have real capacity and meet the requirements. The province's viewpoint is to create the most favorable conditions for enterprises,” emphasized Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan.
