According to the announced results, the average speed of fixed Internet in Vietnam reached 99.81 Mb/s when downloading and 95.30 Mb/s when uploading.

According to statistics as of February 2025, Bac Kan is the province with the fastest average fixed Internet speed in the country, with an average download speed of 238.81 Mb/s and an average upload speed of 175.56 Mb/s. Ha Nam and Quang Tri ranked second and third respectively. Meanwhile, the average fixed Internet speed in Hanoi only reached 139.71 Mb/s for download and 107.92 Mb/s for upload, higher than the average download/upload speed of the whole country. In Ho Chi Minh City, the average download and upload speed reached 140.78 Mb/s and 113.73 Mb/s.

VNNIC has for the first time compiled statistics on Internet speeds in provinces and cities across the country since April 2021.
