Overcoming nearly 30 exams, the presentation "Fiery March - Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings" by contestant Tran Thi Dieu Hien, a first-year student majoring in E-commerce (Faculty of Economics and Construction Management) excellently won first prize in the contest.
Hien analyzed Uncle Ho's teachings: "Nothing is difficult/ Only fear that the heart is not steadfast/ Digging mountains and filling seas/ With determination, it will be done"; related to the reality of Uncle Ho's 30-year journey to find a way to save the country and gave advice to himself and to young people: "Be persistent with your goals, turn your dreams into reality, live and study constantly, train yourself, boldly accept challenges, and do not be afraid of difficulties".
Hien shared: The current 4.0 technology era brings many opportunities but also many challenges. Young people not only need knowledge but also have the courage and perseverance to pursue their dreams. And Youth Month is not only an opportunity for us to look back on the contributions of previous generations, but also a reminder for each young person about their responsibilities."
With the presentation "Youth luggage - Vietnamese youth follow Uncle Ho's example, study and contribute", contestant Truong Thi Tuyet Trinh, class D22KDC1 (Faculty of Economics and Construction Management) convinced the judges to award her second prize in the contest.
In her presentation, the third-year female student analyzed the role and mission of Vietnamese youth in the new era; told a small but meaningful story with the message: On the journey to follow Uncle Ho's teachings, young people not only need determination and talent, but also need an optimistic spirit and be ready to face challenges.
Trinh confided: “Each era has its own challenges, and each generation of youth has its own mission. Before passing away, Uncle Ho advised: “The Hung Kings built the country, we must work together to protect it”. Protecting the country is not only protecting the territory, but also preserving good values, developing the country, and bringing Vietnam on par with the five continents. Youth only comes once, don’t let it pass by meaninglessly. Let’s live so that when we look back, we can be proud that: We didn’t let our youth pass by in vain; we did something useful for society and we lived a brilliant youth, worthy of Uncle Ho’s trust”.
