This is an activity within the framework of Project 8: "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children" in 2024, under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas, Phase I: From 2021 - 2025 (National Target Program 1719) in Thai Giang Pho commune, on implementing Content 1: Propagating and mobilizing to change "thinking and doing" to contribute to eliminating prejudices and gender stereotypes in families and communities, harmful cultural practices and some urgent issues for women and children in 2024.
There are 6 village media teams participating, with each team having 5 official members. The teams have to go through 3 rounds of competition, including: Greeting, handling situations through dramatization and knowledge.
The contest is an opportunity for propagandists to improve their knowledge, methods, propaganda skills, learn and gain experience in propagandizing, mobilizing and handling issues related to gender inequality and harmful cultural practices towards women and children that exist locally. From there, they will be pioneers in changing their thinking and ways of doing things in life, in production and economic development.
At the same time, it is also an opportunity for propagandists to exchange, interact, learn, and share experiences in the field of propaganda, dissemination of legal education; to evaluate the skills of the propagandists of the Community Communication Teams, thereby having a plan to improve the capacity, skills, and methods of the propagandists at the grassroots level.
