Bac Giang: Inauguration of the new inter-agency building of Bac Giang province

BAC GIANG - On the morning of April 19, at 3/2 Square (Bac Giang city), the People's Committee of Bac Giang province held the inauguration ceremony of the new inter-agency building of Bac Giang province. This is one of 80 major projects and works nationwide that were started and inaugurated to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30 (1975-2025). The event was held live, connecting online with connecting points nationwide.

Attending the program were comrades: Pham Van Thinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; investors; and construction units.

The project to build a new inter-agency building in Bac Giang province has a total investment of 698 billion VND from the provincial budget, with the Bac Giang Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor. The implementation period is from 2022-2025.

The building is invested in construction with the goal of combining with 2 existing inter-agency blocks to form a centralized administrative area, a complex of headquarters for many agencies and units. Thereby, meeting the requirements of administrative reform; ensuring efficiency, saving, reducing costs, creating convenience for organizations, businesses and citizens.

Authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leaders of the Department of Construction awarded Certificates of Merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals.

The main item is the office block with 2 basements and 22 floors above ground; total floor area is about 40,590 m². The building is equipped with 8 elevators and 3 staircases; the basement has 5 staircases to enhance fire prevention, fire fighting and escape in case of an incident. The above ground floors are designed as offices, warehouses, electrical, water and information technical rooms...

In addition, the project also includes auxiliary items including: Yard, road, sewer, fence, green campus, power station; power supply and outdoor lighting system, water supply and drainage system, pumping station, parking lot...

Construction started on June 16, 2023, overcoming many difficulties, with high determination and close coordination of related units, the project was completed on schedule.

The new inter-agency building, together with the two existing buildings, will contribute to forming the province's centralized administrative area.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in carrying out the task of building the new inter-agency building of Bac Giang province.
