Bac Giang: Simultaneously collecting voters' opinions on the draft project to rearrange administrative units

At some polling stations, the process of polling voters took place enthusiastically in all communes, wards and towns in the province. Voters enthusiastically participated in polling through two main forms: voting directly at polling stations (village cultural houses, residential groups) and receiving ballots directly at their households.

The voting will be completed before 11:30 a.m. the same day. The results of the voter consultation will be an important basis for the province to complete the plan before submitting it to competent authorities for consideration and decision in the coming time.

It is known that according to Resolution No. 60 dated April 12, 2025, the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, Bac Giang province will merge with Bac Ninh province into a provincial-level administrative unit, named Bac Ninh province; the political-administrative center is located in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province) today.

For the commune level, Bac Giang province drafted a project to rearrange from 192 units to 58 units (13 wards and 45 communes).
