“We reject unfounded and untrue information about the situation of Khmer people in Vietnam.
The Khmer people are an inseparable part of the community of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, living together in equality and harmony, contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland throughout the country's history.
All ethnic groups in Vietnam are treated equally. The Vietnamese State ensures and creates conditions for development in all aspects to continuously improve the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities, preserve national identity and promote good customs, practices, traditions and culture, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.
