Three Prime Ministers want to promote "one journey, three destinations" tourism package

(Dan Tri) - The Prime Ministers of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia want to promote connectivity between the three economies, including both hard and soft infrastructure, and promote cooperation in tourism, first of all the "one journey, three destinations" tourism package.
The content of the orientation to promote cooperation between the three countries was discussed by the heads of the three governments of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia during a working breakfast on the morning of September 5, on the occasion of attending the 43rd ASEAN Summit and related conferences in Jakarta, Indonesia. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet shared their joy that the three countries have made efforts to overcome challenges due to complicated developments in the world and regional situation and maintain security and political stability.

Affirming the continuous consolidation and tightening of cooperation between Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, the three Prime Ministers agreed to continue to maintain regular bilateral and trilateral exchanges and contacts, and maintain the mechanism of working breakfasts between the Prime Ministers of the three countries on the occasion of attending international conferences. This is to strengthen solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the three countries, and at the same time jointly find solutions to problems arising in the relations between the three countries. According to the heads of the three governments of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, security and defense cooperation between the countries has made much progress. The leaders agreed to continue to effectively implement existing agreements and cooperation mechanisms, enhance information sharing and improve the effectiveness of cooperation in combating cybercrime, cross-border crimes, etc. The direction agreed upon by the three Prime Ministers is to continue to have policies and measures to facilitate and further encourage trade and investment cooperation; focusing on border trade and promoting the land border gate system between the three countries.

In addition, the three countries will further promote connectivity between the three economies, including hard and soft infrastructure connectivity, production and supply chains. Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia also agreed to coordinate in exploiting competitive advantages in terms of heritage, culture and cuisine potential to further promote tourism cooperation; in the immediate future, promoting "one journey, three destinations" tourism packages. Cooperation with Laos and Cambodia is always a top priority in Vietnam's foreign policy, as affirmed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. He suggested that the three countries continue to promote and resolve outstanding issues to soon complete the work of land border demarcation and marker planting, in order to build and maintain a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border, for the benefit of the people of each country.
