Accordingly, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province requested the Departments of: Natural Resources and Environment, Industry and Trade, Construction, Transport, Finance, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Provincial Tax Department, Provincial Customs Department, Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial Military Command; People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Document No. 485/UBND-VP dated January 18, 2023 on implementing Document No. 3593/BTNMT-ĐCKS dated June 24, 2022 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Document No. 7918/UBND-VP dated June 21, 2023 on directing the implementation of Document No. 3444/BTNMT-KSVN dated May 16, 2023 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of minerals.
At the same time, strictly implement Decision No. 1986/QD-UBND dated July 26, 2018 of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province on promulgating the Plan to protect unexploited mineral resources in the province and Directive No. 15/CT-UBND dated December 31, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on continuing to strengthen state management of mineral exploration, exploitation, processing, use and export activities in the province. Assign the Provincial Tax Department to urge the implementation of financial obligations and related obligations of organizations and individuals operating in minerals, tax exemption and reduction contents (if any) must be ensured and comply with current legal regulations.
The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to proactively coordinate with departments, branches and localities to inspect and thoroughly resolve existing problems and violations in mineral activities; coordinate with departments, branches and localities to organize reviews and ensure comprehensive responsibility for the content of executive directives, the content of mineral operation licenses, confirmation of registration of areas, capacity, volume, methods, equipment and mineral exploitation plans in the area of construction investment projects; decisions approving auction plans, delimiting areas where mineral exploitation rights are not auctioned, approving reserves, starting prices, deposits, and fees for granting mineral exploitation rights; performing state management responsibilities in the field of minerals and all local mineral activities in accordance with current legal regulations.
