Ba Ria - Vung Tau welcomed 13 million visitors, earning more than 14,000 billion VND

It is currently the low season for tourism, but units in Ba Ria - Vung Tau continue to launch a series of attractive programs to attract tourists to the locality.

On October 25, the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held a press conference to announce tourist areas, destinations, tours, and routes in the province so that tourists have more options when coming to the locality.

In particular, the Department of Tourism has announced 230 tourist areas and destinations in the province, in addition to announcing 54 tours, intra-provincial tourist routes and tourism stimulus programs in Ba Ria - Vung Tau in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Accordingly, 54 tours and routes currently have 12 tours serving cruise tourists. These are tours that are expected to be attractive enough to attract international visitors, in line with the province's orientation during this period.

To attract customers during the low season, 34 units including accommodation establishments and service businesses have launched many promotional programs on room rates, food services, hall rental prices, and discounts on services included in tour programs from 10% to 65%.

Many units such as Vias, Premier Pearl, Malibu, Fusion Suite... along with 4-star and 5-star hotels in the Ho Tram area have programs to reduce room rates, give away buffets or reduce prices on spa, entertainment and relaxation services.

Mr. Trinh Hang, Director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, said that the unit is currently aiming to make tourism a spearhead economic sector of the province.

The Department of Tourism in coordination with departments, branches, localities and the Tourism Association of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also provides information about the program and organizations and individuals participating in the promotion program, discounts on accommodation, sightseeing, dining, travel, conference hall services, etc.

Providing information on destinations, tours, and tourist routes in the province with the aim of promoting Ba Ria - Vung Tau tourism as a "safe, friendly, civilized and attractive destination" with tourism resources, scenic spots, historical - cultural relics, tourism products and attractive tourism programs.

5-star resorts in Ho Tram offer many attractive promotions to attract guests during the low season.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, in the first 9 months of 2024, there were about 13 million tourists visiting, entertaining, swimming and relaxing in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Of which, there were 4.1 million overnight guests (up 17.16% over the same period), the number of international visitors to the province increased significantly with more than 203,000 visitors. Tourism revenue reached more than 14,177 billion VND.
