Ms. Le Thi Thuy has resigned from her position as Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee.

According to a decision by the Politburo, Ms. Le Thi Thuy has ceased her participation in the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Committee, and has relinquished her positions as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council of Ha Nam province.

On the afternoon of February 19th, the Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee held a handover ceremony for the position of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.

At the conference, Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Government , former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, and Ms. Dinh Thi Lua, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee, signed the handover minutes for the position of Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, on February 14th, the Central Party Office issued Document No. 13402 announcing the Politburo 's opinion regarding Ms. Le Thi Thuy's resignation from the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Committee, her relinquishment of the position of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term, and her resignation from the position of Chairperson of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

The Politburo assigned Ms. Dinh Thi Lua, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to oversee the work of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee until the Politburo decides on the personnel for the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Also on February 19th, the 23rd session (Special Session) of the Ha Nam Provincial People's Council, 19th term, 2021-2026, passed a resolution on the dismissal of Ms. Le Thi Thuy from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and her termination of her duties as a member of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
