Ms. Le Thi Thuy ceases to hold the position of Secretary of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee

According to the decision of the Politburo, Ms. Le Thi Thuy ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ha Nam province.

On the afternoon of February 19, the Standing Committee of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee held a conference to hand over the duties of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.

At the conference, Ms. Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Ms. Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee signed the minutes of handover of the duties of Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, on February 14, the Central Party Office issued Document No. 13402 announcing the Politburo's opinion on Ms. Le Thi Thuy ceasing to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and ceasing to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, ceasing to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

The Politburo assigned Ms. Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to run the work of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee until the Politburo decides on the personnel of the Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.

Also on February 19, the 23rd session (Special Session) of the 19th term Ha Nam Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026 passed a resolution on the dismissal of the position of Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council and the termination of the duties of Provincial People's Council delegate for the term 2021-2026 for Ms. Le Thi Thuy.
