On July 6, Dr. Vo Van Tuan, Permanent Vice President of Van Lang University, confirmed that in June 2023, the University Council had completed the personnel for the position of Chairman of the University Council for the 2020-2025 term, Ms. Bui Thi Van Anh, replacing Mr. Nguyen Cao Tri.
Afterwards, the Investor Conference approved the recognition of Ms. Bui Thi Van Anh as Chairwoman of the School Board in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Higher Education and Decree 99/2019/ND-CP detailing and guiding the implementation of the amended and supplemented Law on Higher Education.

Currently, the School Council for the 2020-2025 term has 11 members representing investors, lecturers, employees and members outside the school.
Mrs. Bui Thi Van Anh is the wife of Mr. Nguyen Cao Tri.
Mr. Nguyen Cao Tri was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Van Lang University, one of the first private universities in Vietnam, established in 1995. In addition, he is one of the founding members of Van Lang Education Investment and Management Group Joint Stock Company (the owner of Van Lang University) and was the Chairman of Van Lang Education Group.
