Rap Viet Season 4 Episode 10, which aired on the evening of November 16th, featured the Battle Round for contestants from Coach B Ray's team.

Notably, all four golden hats from the four coaches had already been used in the previous three matches for the teams of coaches BigDaddy, Suboi, and Karik.

In other words, after 4 rounds of competition, Team B Ray will have 4 contestants eliminated. Therefore, Team B Ray has the most eliminated contestants after the Battle Round.

"I don't believe someone as arrogant as B Ray would only focus on family-related topics," Suboi declared.

However, B Ray delivered many surprises with his strategy.

CoolKid and Young Puppy were the first pair to battle in Rap Viet Season 4 Episode 10. Both delivered a dreamy opening performance of youthful love with the song "Love somebody".

Coach B Ray stated that he wanted to create a song that would appeal to Generation Z, reflecting the "chocolate lollipop" ideology that was so successful in the previous season of Rap Viet.

In it, CoolKid plays a guy determined to win over Young Puppy, a spoiled girl.

Based on audience votes, CoolKid and Young Puppy received 59% and 41% of the votes, respectively.

Ultimately, the judges chose CoolKid to advance, while Young Puppy entered the 8-bar round (the elimination round).

Following their youthful love story, the couple Ram C and Vlary delivered a happy wedding ceremony with the song "If Nothing Changes".

Guest judge Hieu Thu Hai expressed his admiration for the chemistry between the two contestants and predicted that this song would create a sensation upon its release.

As a result, RamC received 55% of the audience vote and advanced directly to the next round based on the judges' selection.

Gill and Icy Famou$ rocked the stage.

In the third performance of Rap Viet season 4 episode 10, B Ray pitted two contestants with a significant age difference against each other: his "star" Gill and the newcomer, the youngest member Icy Famou$, who is only 17 years old.

Speaking about his decision, Coach B Ray wanted Gill to challenge himself, to do something new compared to what he had planned.

"Gill is mentally prepared to fight someone of equal skill, and for me, that's a safe bet. What Gill isn't ready for is fighting a 17-year-old with such aggressive energy. This will be a challenge for both of us," B Ray said.

Not disappointing, Icy Famou$ teamed up with Gill to deliver a captivating performance of "The Vu Family Boy," adding a touch of playfulness to the act by writing witty lyrics about ex-lovers.

However, facing a more experienced opponent, Icy Famou$ was forced to drop 8 bars, allowing Gill to advance to the next round.

The final performance, titled "Through Each Frame," was performed by Ngắn and Robber. Previously, coach B Ray had hoped that both of them would bring out the edginess, worldly experience, and life lessons to breathe life into the rap song. The coach had high hopes that this would be an early final performance.

After the performance, MC Tran Thanh praised: "This should be called the final performance! We just witnessed an earthquake here."

The results favored Robber, who received 54% of the votes. Both judges chose Robber to advance.

Robber and Ngắn's performance was likened to a final performance.

In the 8-bar round, with 2 beats and 8 musical phrases, the 4 unselected contestants from B Ray's team, including Young Puppy, Vlary, Icy Famou$, and Ngắn, created fresh melodies to convince their coach.

With the witty theme "Tease your coach," all four contestants brought the audience plenty of relaxing and enjoyable laughter.

Finally, B Ray decided to choose Ngan, the rapper who criticized him for having a "pockmarked face and being ugly," as the last member to advance to the upcoming Breakthrough round.
