Training on national defense and security knowledge for subject 4

On the morning of July 11, the National Defense and Security Education Council of Nhu Xuan district opened a training course on National Defense and Security knowledge for group 4, year 2023 for nearly 150 students.

Speaking at the opening of the class, comrade Le Anh Tuan, member of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Chairman of the District Defense and Security Education Council emphasized: In recent years, Nhu Xuan district has paid attention to training knowledge on defense and security for subjects, directly organizing training classes on defense and security knowledge for subjects 4.

Through that, cadres, civil servants, public employees and party members clearly see the position and importance of training in national defense and security knowledge, effectively applying it to performing tasks at the grassroots level according to assigned duties and responsibilities, contributing to maintaining political stability in agencies, units and residential areas.

During the 4-day course from July 11 to July 14, students attending the class will be taught topics on the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, policies and laws of the Vietnamese State on national defense and security; policies and laws of the State on socio-economic development associated with strengthening and consolidating national defense and security and foreign affairs activities in the new situation; on protecting political, economic, cultural and ideological security; state management of security and order in the new situation; ethnic and religious issues associated with national defense and security in the new situation; preventing and combating the strategy of "peaceful evolution" and violent overthrow by hostile forces; basic content on the Strategy for protecting national borders, managing and protecting Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands in the new situation; preventing and combating violations of the law in cyberspace; building and managing militia and self-defense forces and reserve forces in the new situation...

At the end of the course, students will participate in writing a report and be granted a certificate of completion of the National Defense and Security Education program under subject 4 in accordance with the provisions of the Law on National Defense and Security Education.
