MANILA TIMES. The Philippines will block investors from accessing the website and app platforms of cryptocurrency exchange Binance , in a crackdown on unlicensed cryptocurrency exchanges operating in the country.

THE STAR. Malaysia's House of Representatives has passed a bill banning smoking and the sale of related products, including e-cigarettes, to minors.
VNA. The ASEAN Festival takes place from November 30 to December 3 in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, bringing together the participation of 10 cultures of ASEAN member countries, with many unique art and culinary performances.
KYODO. Japan's leading motorcycle manufacturer - Honda Motor Co. announced a plan to invest 500 billion Yen (more than 3.3 billion USD) in the electric motorcycle sector from now until 2030.
JAPAN TIMES. Japan has asked the US to temporarily suspend the use of Osprey military aircraft in the country after a collision that killed at least one person and left seven others missing.
REUTERS. Bhutan is holding primary votes to choose the top two of the five political parties that will contest its fourth general election on January 9.
IRNA. Iran and Oman held a one-day joint maritime search and rescue exercise in the northern Indian Ocean and the Strait of Hormuz.
CNBC. Egyptian and Qatari negotiators are pushing for a two-day extension of the ceasefire between the Islamist movement Hamas and Israel.
CNN. The temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip is "bearing fruit" and should be maintained, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said during a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog in Tel Aviv.

THE LOCAL. Google opens its largest cybersecurity center in Europe, warning that cyberattacks are becoming more common and threaten to affect political systems.

TVE. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez called on the EU to recognise an independent Palestinian state as this would help end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and stabilise the region.
REUTERS. Russia is getting rid of its dependence on Western technology quite quickly, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the 3rd Congress of Young Scientists in Krasnodar.
TASS. Russia will increase its voluntary oil production cuts to 500,000 barrels per day and extend the decision until the end of the first quarter of 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced after the OPEC+ ministerial meeting.
KYODO. Ukraine will not agree to a ceasefire unless Russia withdraws its troops, President Volodymyr Zelensky said, expressing concern that the international community is no longer "focusing" on the situation in Ukraine amid the Israel-Hamas conflict in the Middle East.
AZERNEWS. Armenia and Azerbaijan resumed talks on their common border, after a period of stagnation since Baku retook the Nagorny-Karabakh region.
TVP WORLD. The Polish government has filed a lawsuit against Germany at the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) for failing to clean up waste illegally transported to Polish territory.
AP. Statistics Finland (SF) released official figures showing that economic growth in the third quarter of 2023 decreased due to slowing industrial development and weak consumer demand.
AFP. Croatia is struggling to contain the spread of whooping cough , which health officials say is partly due to falling vaccination rates.
GUARDIAN. European consumer groups have filed a complaint against Meta, which charges users a monthly service fee if they opt out of Meta's use of personal data to support personalized advertising.
America
REUTERS. The UN Security Council meets in New York, USA to discuss the current conflict between Israel and Hamas, as well as tense developments in the Middle East.

YONHAP. The US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) released images of a US Army chemical unit conducting joint exercises with South Korean forces near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
DIMSUM DAILY. Honduran Foreign Minister Eduardo Enrique Reina called on the US government to stop interfering in the country's internal affairs after US Ambassador Laura Dogu spoke out about the appointment of an interim prosecutor.
BUENOS AIRES TIMES. Argentina's candidate for Foreign Minister Diana Mondino once again affirmed that her country will not join BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa).
CNBC. OPEC announced that Brazil will join the alliance between the group and its partners, known as OPEC+, in early 2024.

NORTH AFRICA POST. To date, more than 1,300 French soldiers have left Niger along with more than 80% of their military equipment, moving towards the capital N'Djamena of Chad and France.
